With qualifying and the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Pennsylvania 400 all on Sunday, July 30, Pocono Raceway added a FanFest to a weekend full of fun activities.

Those who have purchased tickets to the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Pocono Mountains 150 can enter for just $10 a car load. The event is open to the public and admission is just $20 per vehicle. Please be sure to have your tickets with you to access the FanFest at no charge.

Tickets for all races are now on sale at www.poconoraceway.com or by calling 1-800-RACEWAY.
We hope to attend, always a great day!
Will there be a chance to get autographs?
Drivers will be there doing several events, some including fans. Autographs are not being promised and are not currently part of the program, due to the amount of fans we are expecting and drivers not wanting fans to be missed that are in attendance.
We are camping in family section do we still buy a ticket for car? We will be there.
I have an email that it is free for weekend campers or friday & sunday ticket holders.
Correct – This is included in the webpage, as well. If you are a Pennsylvania 400 race weekend camper, a Friday ticket holder or Sunday ticket holders, FanFest is free to attend. If you are a Saturday ticket holder, the cost is $10, per car. If you do not have any tickets, the cost to attend is $20, per car.
Where is it being held at ? And what time will dale jr be there for his appearance?
Arlene – This is being held at our Infield Block Party area. More details about Dale Jr’s time and other drivers’ schedules will be announced soon.
I have a question you need a Friday pass and Sunday ticket
to get in FREE what happens if your going to the track with friends and they have your Sunday ticket and can’t get it until Sunday you don’t want to drive in you just want to come through the tunnel to the fest what do you need as tickets for fan fest
Thank You

You will need a ticket to get in, or at least someone in your car load must have a ticket. Someone from your car must present a Friday or Sunday ticket to enter the infield. Without it, the cost will be $20, per car load.
You just need to show your ticket to Sunday’s race that weekend to get into the fanfest for free..they don’t keep your ticket. If you don’t have a ticket to any of the races the cost to get a ticket is $20. If you have a ticket to the truck race it’s $10 extra for a ticket for the fanfest.
So no autographs or pictures? What about the signed diecast car that was mentioned in the post
Stephanie – Our apologies, but we think you might be talking about the Dale Jr Sky Box ticket package. That is sold out, but did come with a signed diecast.
My brother and I are really looking forward to our very first NASCAR event. My question concerns traffic. We are staying in Tannersville. On a normal day, my GPS says it should take 19 minutes to get to the Raceway but this is not any ordinary weekend. Assuming we want to be at the Raceway when you open at 8am on Saturday, how long can we realistically figure it should take to get to the track? Can we assume it will take that much longer on Sunday? Thanks.
Bill – We always tell fans to plan ahead and leave early. Our parking lots will open at 6 a.m. Arrive early and tailgate to avoid traffic.
Bill, I agree w/ Pocono’s comment. Raceday can be fairly heavy for traffic. When the green flag time was 1pm, we’d arrive at the track by 8am and tailgate. Now that the green flag time is 3pm, we’ll still probably get to the track at 8am because there’s always a lot going on at the raceway. If you haven’t considered it and will be there Friday and/or Saturday also, Pit/Paddock passes are a great idea!
We also stayed in Tannersville. We left hotel a little before 7:30 and arrived there around 8. There is plenty to do and see.
Will there also be a fanfest on Saturday evening? Music and Fireworks? Or will the fireworks now be on Friday evening?
Chris – FanFest is only being held on Friday, July 28th. We will also have our usual Saturday night public Block Party and Fireworks on Saturday.
hello
so what you are saying there will not be any autograph sessions
for meet and greet the drivers?
what then will be actually happening at this event?
Terry – There are no autograph sessions or meet-and-greets. More details about their appearances will be announced once the drivers and teams approve them. The event is actually happening from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. ET on Friday, July 28th.
so what are the drivers planning on doing there?
Lol ! Ridiculas , no autographs no photos just a quick 20 dollar grab? Thats insane…
Any bands playing at fan fest or block party?
The Scott Marshall Band will play after FanFest concludes around 9 p.m.
Do you have the schedule published yet for Fanfest on Friday, July 28th? I want to know the times and places as to the special 9-driver session.
We should have these finalized by early next week.
We have hot passes. ..do we still need tickets
Those credentials will give you access to FanFest.
How will Sunday Pit Road access work with qualifying on Sunday now for kids? This was the only time kids to access pit road and I know my son is always looking forward to this part…
Pat – We are working with NASCAR, but due to there being on-track activity on Sunday, pit road will have age restrictions. This is a NASCAR rule and one we are working diligently to resolve for all fans under the age of 18 on Sunday. Stay tuned.
what time is qualifying on SUNDAY
Qualifying will be at 11:30 a.m. Sunday, July 30th.
What else is going on at Fanfest on Friday other than driver appearances? Assume grounds and all food and merch.venues are open 5:30-8pm?
Fan FEST takes place in our Infield Block Party area. There will be live entertainment, food and beverage and activities for all ages.
How do you get hot passes? We have victory club tickets!
Renee – Hot Passes are handled by NASCAR and their teams. Pocono Raceway is not able to sell or issue these, per NASCAR rules. This is a common request, but one we are not able to assist with at this time. Sorry!
Are we aloud to meet the drivers at all
There will be driver appearances, but given the drivers’ times there we do not have an autograph or meet-and-greets scheduled.
Gates open at 4:30 or event starts at 4:30??…..emailed answers are also welcome.
You can enter Gate 1 to get to FanFest starting at 4:30 p.m. The event begins at 5:30 p.m.
If we are camping in the secure area but do not have grandstand tickets for Sunday, what would our charge be to enter the Fan Fest since we will be walking from our site and not in a car. Thanks.
Ken – FanFest is FREE for all Camping guests staying at the Raceway. If you are a camping guest (Family Grandstand or Infield), you receive complimentary access.
Is the rest of the schedule available for fan fest yet?
Jackie – We are hopeful to have the final schedule this afternoon ad will update the page accordingly. We are still waiting for a couple of drivers to confirm their events.
Can anyone come to the track to watch practice on Saturday and is there a cost to watch practice?
Tickets for Saturday’s events start at $25 for adults. Kids, ages 12 and under, are free.
how do you get there from the pit/paddock area?
You will walk around the building where the cafeteria and walk straight towards Turn 2. That road is Earnhardt Road. You won’t be able to miss it.
The forecast calls for 100% chance of rain with thunderstorms all day for Friday. Is it rain or shine or would it just be cancelled??
The event is rain or shine. In the event of severe weather, we will update all fans via social media and our website.
I am staying with friends in the Family Grandstand RV area. I need to drive separately from them because of work. I cannot use their support pass as it is being used for their own vehicle. Is there a some sort of parking pass I can buy to park with them at the campsite?
Visit the following link and information is listed for LATE ARRIVAL PARKING…https://www.poconoraceway.com/camping-info.html
Is fan fest held rain or shine?
Yes, it is rain or shine. We are planning to start on time!
Can we take bags/backpacks into fanfest?
Sorry for the lack of a reply earlier, but we hope you had fun (with you bags) at FanFest!
Hi it’s Sat the 29 th . 7:55 am. Could you tell me what time fan fest is today and where. Thank you
Good Morning Bob. FanFest was held last night as advertised. The rain moved out and we did not have to postpone the event. For complete list of remaining events, visit http://www.poconoraceway.com/schedule.
where can I find out how you are going to line em up?
We apologize, but if you are asking about cars for qualifying, they line them up based on points on pit road. If you are referencing another question, please be more specific and we’ll happily answer your question. Thanks and enjoy the race!
Hi! Will you be having another event of this type for the Overton 400 in 2018? 🙂
Good Morning Chelsea – We have yet to confirm this event or the full weekend event schedule for our races this summer. Once the schedule and information is confirmed by NASCAR, we will make announcements regarding events such as these. Thanks for contacting us and we hope to see you this summer!
