(May 4, 2021), Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf announced statewide mitigation orders, including those related to event capacity and social distancing, will be lifted starting May 31, 2021. Pocono Raceway has issued an official statement regarding today’s news.

“Pocono Raceway will operate at 100% capacity for the 2021 NASCAR Doubleheader Weekend!
We are thrilled and appreciative of today’s announcement from Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf. As we have been doing, the Raceway will continue to follow the protocols and guidance set forth by our state and the sanctioning body of NASCAR at the time of our events.
Our staff is working through this incredible opportunity to be one of the largest outdoor sporting events this summer and kindly ask ticket holders for continued patience. We will be sending out additional announcements, information and details in the coming days and weeks.

What will Pocono Raceway’s capacity be for the 2021 NASCAR Doubleheader?
Following Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf’s May 4th announcement, Pocono Raceway will operate at 100% capacity. This applies to the 100, 200 and 300 Levels of the Grandstand, Terrace Club, Victory Circle Club, Sky Box, Club Pocono, all Infield Camping areas and all GEICO Family Campground areas.
What is the social distancing guidance for the 2021 NASCAR Doubleheader?
Following Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf’s May 4th announcement, Pocono Raceway can operate with no social distancing between guests in seats or camping areas. We ask all guests to respect the personal space of others throughout our venue.
Are tickets for the 2021 NASCAR Doubleheader Weekend still available?
Yes. Grandstand and limited Camping tickets are available. Please call 1-800-722-3929 or visit www.poconoraceway.com/tickets to purchase tickets. Please be aware certain ticketing/camping sections are sold out.
How will Pocono Raceway implement CDC, state and NASCAR protocols and guidance?
Pocono Raceway will abide by state-issued protocols and NASCSAR guidance which are in place at the time of their NASCAR event weekend. The Raceway will continue to work with state officials and the sanctioning body at NASCAR over the next few weeks. The Raceway’s event policies and procedures will be updated on their website, delivered to all ticket holders in advance of the race weekend via email and posted on signage at the venue during the event weekend.
Will there be a mask mandate?
Pocono Raceway will follow state-issued guidance at the time of our event. Currently, Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf’s mask mandate will remain in order until 70% of eligible Pennsylvania resident receive the vaccine. Those who are fully vaccinated will not be required to wear a mask. If this continues, Pocono Raceway will provide updates to all ticket holders prior to arrival and fans should look for signage posted throughout the facility on what our exact protocols and guidelines will be for guests. The Raceway asks all guests to be respectful and kind to their fellow race fan during the race weekend.
Will there be restrictions for Pit/Paddock Passes?
Pit access is at the discretion of the sanctioning body, which in this case will be NASCAR. This also applies to the Paddock, given the proximity to NASCAR garage and pit road. Pit/Paddock Passes are available. please CLICK HERE for more details.
Will areas of Pocono Raceway be closed or restricted during our event weekend?
All guests should be prepared for a different fan experience during the 2021 NASCAR Doubleheader Weekend at Pocono Raceway. While Pocono Raceway prides itself on fan amenities and experiences, some of their initiatives will be on hold in accordance with mandates and protocols. More information regarding these protocols will be announced closer to the June 25-27 race weekend.
Will Pocono Raceway host events for Grandstand guests in Fan Fair?
Yes. Pocono Raceway and several partners will have displays, merchandise and activities inside Fan Fair. Exact details on Fan Fair displays and activities will be updated on the Raceway’s virtual event guide.
If international travel is restricted, how will Pocono Raceway handle ticket account holders who cannot attend?
Pocono Raceway has a long-standing tradition of doing right by their valued fans. If a situation arises whereas guests are not able to attend due to national travel restrictions, Pocono Raceway will do everything in their power to do right by those ticket holders. Will I need to provide a vaccination card to attend?
Pocono Raceway will not require guests to show a vaccination card to attend. The Raceway will follow guidance issued by state and health officials. As of today, the state is not requiring Pocono Raceway to request fans show a vaccination card or negative COVID-19 test. All guests should also follow the recommendations or the CDC and state health officials prior to attending any outdoor events.
What if I am not able to attend the event or choose not to attend?

If I had my original seat moved due to prior capacity limits, can I get my original seat back given the new capacity limits?
While there are no guarantees, 2021 ticket account holders looking to be reseated must visit the following link and complete the contact form. The Pocono Raceway ticket office will respond accordingly after reviewing the ticket account holder’s information. There is no need to contact the ticket office directly on this subject. NOTE: All 2021 ticket holders will be able to renew their originally purchased tickets following the 2021 event. More details about renewals will be announced after the race weekend.
