LONG POND, Pa. (July 28, 2016) – The Verizon IndyCar Series test session at Pocono Raceway on Thursday, August 4 will be free and open to the public and fans are encouraged to attend to get a preview of the upcoming ABC Supply 500 race weekend scheduled for August 20-21.
Verizon IndyCar Series drivers from Andretti Autosport, Ed Carpenter Racing, A.J. Foyt Enterprises, Chip Ganassi Racing, Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing and Schmidt Peterson Motorsports will all participate in Thursday’s test at ‘The Tricky Triangle.’
Drivers scheduled to take to the track include Marco Andretti, Ryan Hunter-Reay, Alexander Rossi, Carlos Munoz, Ed Carpenter, Josef Newgarden, Takuma Sato, Jack Hawksworth, Scott Dixon, Max Chilton, Charlie Kimball, Tony Kanaan, Graham Rahal, James Hinchcliffe and Mikhail Aleshin.
Fans can enter through Gate 1 of Pocono Raceway beginning at 9 a.m., with the test scheduled to run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Seating in Club Pocono will be free of charge.
The Verizon IndyCar Series ABC Supply 500 is scheduled for Sunday, August 21, at Pocono Raceway. Tickets for all races are now on sale at www.poconoraceway.com or by calling 1-800-RACEWAY.

just wondering why indy weekend camping prices are the same as nascar weekend events when grandstand tickets are offered at a lower price and only two days of on track activities
