LONG POND, Pa. (August 3, 2017) – The 2017 Vintage Celebration at Pocono Raceway, promoted by the “Classic Racing Times,” will be held as part of the ABC Supply 500 weekend August 19-20.The Vintage Celebration at Pocono Raceway is one of the largest in the country and will draw drivers from all over the United States as well as four foreign countries.
More than 170 cars are expected to take part in the Classic Racing Times program, with a host of special guests including Bentley Warren, Merle Bettenhausen and Pancho Carter.
Saturday, August 19
8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.: “Sun and Show” car show, Paddock (Please note Gate Admission Ticket and Paddock Pass required)
10:20-11:20 a.m.: 2.5-mile ride-around sessions for show cars
10:30 a.m.-12:45 p.m.: Road course touring groups
11:30 a.m.-12:20 p.m.: Vintage IndyCars on track
2:30-3:30 p.m.: Road course touring groups
2:30-3:20 p.m.: Vintage IndyCars on track
Sunday, August 20
8:00 a.m. “Sun and Show” car show, Paddock (Please note Gate Admission Ticket and Paddock Pass required)
12:20-12:40 p.m.: Vintage IndyCar parade laps
