This was are 4th year at pocono
I purchased them from stub hub
But I have purchased from you before, so will I get the chance to purchase first?
Pocono Raceway |
Good Morning Dale – You must have a 2019 ticket purchase directly with Pocono Raceway and a ticket account under your name to be eligible. There is no way for us to determine where tickets go on the third-party ticket sites, which is why we only provide the renewal program to Pocono Raceway account ticket holders from the previous year.
Andrew Evens |
When can we buy ticketes for 2020
Pocono Raceway |
Andrew – Please visit http://www.poconoraceway.com/2020. Our renewal program will begin in early September and we will make further announcements regarding the public on-sale date this Fall.
Gloria Sirois |
I see that the 2020 tickets will be awarded first to ticket holders for either of the 2019 races. How is this going to work? I have had tickets for the July race for over 20 yrs. Will I have my same seats? I’m sure that someone has those seats for the June race. How will I get my same seats if someone has them for June?
Also, for the past 20 years, I have had the same 3 sites @ the family campground about 1 mile from the track. What about the campsites? I am very distressed about this. Please help me by reassuring my about this issue. My children and grandchildren depend and look forward to this as a family vacation every year. The grand kids have been going to Pocono for this since they were infants!
Pocono Raceway |
Gloria – Thanks for reaching out to us and for being such a great supporter of Pocono Raceway. The good news for you is our renewal process will be based on priority. More details about this process, the updates we are making to help streamline and give YOU (the fans) more control over your seat selection, are going to be announced by the end of this week. Be on the lookout for an email very soon!

Gloria,
I have some potential bad news regarding your camping question. Assuming you are referring to the campground on Clearview Rd. just off Long Pond Rd., I am in the same boat as you. 2019 was my 20th year. I go to the June race and stay at that campground. I took me a few year to work my way up the hill but if my memory is correct I have had the same 3 sites for 15 or 16 years. I added a 4th site 4 years ago and added a 5th site 3 years ago. A couple months ago I called the Pocono Raceway and spoke to someone regarding this. The office that handles our campground is separate from the office that handles campsites at the track. The gentleman told me that the sites for our campground will go my seniority. The bad news is that they have a new computer system that only goes back 4 years. They can not prove that we have been there much longer. He said that if the people on my sites for the July race have been there for less years then I get my sites. If we have both been there for 4 years then I will basically by a flip of the coin on who gets the site. He said that if we loose any of our sites we still take precedence over someone else on a different site who has been there for less years. For example, lets say I get to only keep 3 of my sites and loose 2. If there are 2 nearby sites (or any 2 as he described) that someone has had for less years, I will get those 2 sites and bump them. They will have to hope for another site or possibly not get one at all. I hope this makes sense and helps answer your question…..Scott.
Pocono Raceway |
Good Afternoon R. Scott – The seniority will go by account ticket information and not year over year. So, if you have been a customer of ours for 20 years, our records and your account number will dictate your priority over someone who has only been here for a few years. This will be a work in progress, but we ask for all fans to trust this process and trust that Pocono Raceway will continue to do right by our most loyal fans. There will be exceptions to rules and we will work with each and every account ticket holder to ensure they have the opportunity to attend our 2020 race weekend.

good morning
I’ve had two different sites in the preferred infield section for each of the races since about 1998. We go with two different groups( one in june and one in july). Am I going to be able to get the same two spots for 2020 ?
Pocono Raceway |
Good Afternoon John – camping will be based on seniority by account number. If you have been a long-standing ticket holder, you will have the first priority over someone who has only been here a few races. When we call, you will be able to chat with our Ticketing Specialist and they will help get the spots you are requested, to the best of our ability. This entire process is a work in progress Please know, however, that we have our most loyal customers’ best interest at heart.
Joanne & Mark Warren |
As a season ticket holder for both races, can we possibly get a campsite that you are opening up? Is it for Campers and what would cost approximately?
Pocono Raceway |
Good Afternoon Joanne & Mark – Please give a call to our ticket office at 1-800-722-3929. They will be able to answer those questions. We are open weekdays between 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. next week!

Christopher Craver |
Hello…. Have been a ticket holder for over ten years and love my seats. Will I have the ability to purchase both race days at the same seats?
Thank you,
Pocono Raceway |
Hello, Your seats for the June race will be available for you to renew for the Saturday race and your seats for the July race would be available for you to renew for the Sunday race
Marylou |
if you are camping on site – do you get into the qualifying on Friday free or do you have to pay $25 to go into qualifying on Friday?
jjlarose |
Marylou, Thursday and Friday General Admission Grandstand access will be included.
Rob |
Will we have to pay 175 twice for section 300 for both cup races or will it be a package deal.
jjlarose |
Rob, as of right now Saturday and Sunday tickets will need to be purchased separately.
Debbie sandt |
Hello we have seats up in the box section can we still get our same seats, we always went on Sunday for the one race
Michael bartow |
my question is about the tickets. For the June race I have tickets for the club Pocono and for the July race I have the Victory circle. Now if I renew them will I still have to get a separate ticket for the Truck and Xfinity race like you had to do this yr or with me renewing my seats I’m automatically able to get in with 1 ticket like sat’s truck and cup race combined into 1 ticket. Also, Since the Victory circle section is closed for both truck and Xfinity races are they going to be open to the folks so they can sit there and see both races each day for those that have tickets for that corresponding race like sat victory circle ticket holder would you allow them to sit there on sat and see both the truck and cup from their seats or are we supposed to wait till the cup race part and then be allowed to sit there. I’m abit confused since there is no clear answer about this.
Pocono Raceway |

We couldn’t make 2019 race due to some unforeseen financial circumstances. We plan to go every year as we made it our new tradition 4 years ago. If we missed this past race are we going to get an email too?

Michelle LaRocca |

Pocono Raceway |

Randy Doney |
I have been attending races at Pocono since the early 80’s and I know first hand how the weather can be very unpredictable at Pocono Raceway. Can someone tell me how the schedule of events will go if Saturday’s race or Sunday’s Race is rained out and worst case scenario if both days events are rained out. I understand with 4 days of racing there are many, many variables. But, maybe some one could give me an hypothetical example of what might happen.
Pocono Raceway |
Hi Randy,
Thanks for reaching out. Really it will go the same as it always has gone. NASCAR will be the ones that determine the rescheduled race(s) time and date as it fits with their scheduling, just as any postponement procedures currently used. Our Worry-Free Weather Guarantee that we introduced a few years ago will be in effect for both Saturday and/or Sunday tickets purchased ahead of time. For more information on this policy please visit: https://www.poconoraceway.com/worry-free-weather-guarantee.html
Mike |
I always go into the infield for the races. Will I still be able to purchase them the day of the race when I drive there? And if I go on Saturday will I be able to go on Sunday to, or do I have to buy a different ticket for Sunday? Thank you
Pocono Raceway |
Hello Mike, our one-day infield option would no longer be available. Due to the demand wee have expand our camping into turn 1. Weekend Spots are still available please call our ticket office at 1-800-722-3929
