We have once again teamed up with our great partners at Weis Markets for the 2022 “Weis Markets Hometown Heroes” program. After successfully identifying hundreds of Hometown heroes through previous two years of the program, we decided to bring it back for 2022! Through these unique times it is now evident more than ever that we are always around fellow heroes, daily. Whether it be a teacher who has gone above and beyond for their students, a co-worker who has tirelessly multi-tasked responsibilities while working from home, a community organizer who has kept critical services open and available, or a military member, first responder, medical professional or your everyday local Weis Markets employee who has selflessly been there for us, the definition of a hero reaches far and wide. As we all know, not all heroes wear capes.
Pocono Raceway and Weis Markets would like to identify some of those heroes through this program. If you have a hero in mind fill out the form below and tell us how much your hero means to you and what they are doing in their hometowns. Submissions will be collected from May 2, 2022 – June 10, 2022. At that time members of our Fan Council, Weis Markets and Pocono Raceway Staff will select 4 finalists. Weis Markets will then choose two (2) Hometown Heroes and two (2) Honorable heroes for the Above & Beyond Award.
The ‘Hometown Heroes’ will each receive a $500 Weis Markets Gift Card and a VIP experience for to the 2022 NASCAR Cup Series Weekend. As well as a $100 Sunoco Gift Card and Sunoco branded cooler for each winner.
The ‘Above and Beyond’ recipients will each receive a $250 Weis Markets Gift Card, a $250 Pocono Raceway Gift Card and NASCAR tickets to Pocono Raceway.
