Had pit/paddock tickets but couldn’t use them because of lack of signage directing strangers to the track for those coming from southeast or east of track region. When I finally reached the area, came to a number of T intersections with no clue as to which direction to choose, resulting in extra 50+ miles of driving & time spent behind the wheel, not spent at track. One really idiotic missing sign – Long Pond Road “T” dead end – the auxlliary police directing drivers onto Long Pond gave no clue what was next. I worked nearby before the speedway was built so had a general recognition of route numbers and was able to get back on course, but arrived almost 2 hours later than planned.
