LONG POND, PA (August 18, 2015) – Pocono Raceway announced today Jeff Smith, Managing Partner of ABC Supply Co., Inc. in Reading, PA, and Tom Wills, Managing Partner of ABC Supply Co., Inc. in Wilkes-Barre, PA will serve as the Grand Marshals for the ABC Supply 500 at “The Tricky Triangle” on Sunday, August 23rd. David Beattie, President of Bay Roofing in Fairfield a company that does Roof Repair, NJ, will serve as the Honorary Starter. Additionally, the United Stated Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) Band Herald Trumpets will perform the National Anthem. The green flag for the ABC Supply 500 is scheduled for 2:30 pm.
Pocono Raceway will be hosting several special events through the ABC Supply 500 race weekend, including:
- Pocono Vintage Festival with INDYCAR – The Sportscar Vintage Racing Association (SVRA) will host multiple events starting on Thursday, August 20th, on the 1.37-mile Southeast Road Course. SVRA Vintage and Historic Sport Racing, Formula and Sports Cars will use the interior road course, while vintage and historical oval racing cars in attendance will run exhibition laps on Pocono Raceway’s 2.5-mile Superspeedway throughout the weekend. - The Guess Who Concert at the Infield Block Party and Fireworks Show – The public is invited to attend to The Guess Who concert and the Infield Block Party on Saturday, August 22nd. Tickets are $20, per adult, and $10, per child, ages 12 and under. Tickets can be purchased at the Gate 1 Tunnel entrance starting at 5 pm. The Guess Who will be on stage starting at 6:30 pm and will be followed by local entertainment, courtesy of 40lb Head. The annual Pocono Raceway Fireworks Spectacular is scheduled to start at approximately 9:15 pm. Advance tickets are available by visiting the Pocono Raceway Main Ticket Office, located off Long Pond Road, between the hours of 9 am – 5 pm, Tuesday-Friday. - INDYCAR Driver Autograph Session – The stars of the Verizon IndyCar Series will participate in a driver autograph session from 9:15 – 10:15 am on Sunday, August 23rd. This event will take place at the INDYCAR Fan Village, located in Pocono Raceway’s Fan Fair. The autograph session will be on a first-come, first-serve basis. The INDYCAR Fan Village will open, allowing for fans to get in line, starting at 8 am. Note: A Sunday Grandstand Gate Admission Ticket is required for entry into Fan Fair.

The ABC Supply 500 race weekend, taking place August 20th – 23rd, will feature the Verizon IndyCar Series and vintage/historical cars associated with the SVRA. Event tickets for Thursday, Friday and Saturday start at $20 for adults. Kids, ages 12 and under, are admitted free to all events on Thursday through Saturday, with accompaniment of an adult ticket holder. Tickets to the INDYCAR race on Sunday start at $25 for adults and $12.50 for children, ages 12 and under. Please note, the Grandstand will not be open until Saturday, August 22nd. Fans attending events on Thursday and Friday will be directed to the Gate 1 Tunnel, located off Tunnel Road, for entry. Additionally, One-Day Sunday Infield tickets are not available for Sunday’s race.
