Pocono Raceway Most Common Questions
Q: What are the best directions to Pocono Raceway?
A: Pocono Raceway is located 3 miles off Interstate 80 at Exit #284. From Exit #284, you just need to follow 115 South. For those with a GPS enabled device, our best recommendation is simply typing “Pocono Raceway” into Google Maps or click here for more direction options.
Q: How can I learn more about your ticket options?

Q: Which seats have the best views?
A: Pocono Raceway boasts the longest frontstretch in NASCAR. The iconic Grandstand runs parallel to the frontstretch and provides a variety of views of the racing action as well as onto Pit Road. Ultimately, personal preference determines the “best” view – some fans prefer seeing the action coming out of Turn 3, others prefer seeing the cars at max speed as they head into Turn 1 , while others prefer being as close to the Start/Finish Line as possible. One thing to keep in mind – especially if you are a new fan – unlike other events, most veteran fans prefer to sit as high as possible. Feel free to give us a call at 1-800-RACEWAY, and we’ll walk you through all your options to help you decide exactly where you want to sit.
Q: Is Pocono Raceway kid and family-friendly?
A: As a parent, you may be familiar with Mack, Lightening McQueen, Rusty, Dusty and Turbo. Well, here at Pocono Raceway, we have our very own kid-friendly mascot, “Tricky”. Tricky even has his own “Kit Kamp” – a great little play area located right behind the Grandstand. We also have an interactive “Kids Zone” that is packed with exciting displays, inflatables and other activities. Plus, Children, ages 12 and under, will receive FREE Admission to 100 and 200 levels of the Grandstand, as well as Fan Fair, for Friday, Saturday and Sunday events during our NASCAR event weekend. Also, be sure to ask about our “Family Section” in the grandstand, which is alcohol-free. For your convenience, we also have changing tables located throughout our famous “Long John”. Finally, be sure to ask about our FREE Child ID Wristbands. Believe it or not, sometimes adults tend to stray off. Having one of our ID Wristbands helps Tricky find you, and reconnect you with your child.
Q: How do I get close to the cars and drivers?
A: Probably one of the most popular questions we get is, “How do I get close to the cars and drivers?” Simply put, a Pit/Paddock pass is your best bet. We can never make any guarantees about autographs or pictures, but we can promise you that a Pit/Paddock pass will get you as close as possible to the cars and drivers. Certain age and time restrictions may apply, so feel free to give us a call, and we can explain it all to you.

Q: What’s traffic like on race day?
A: Not unlike other major sporting events or concerts, we host a large number of people who for the most part plan to arrive and leave at about the same time. We actively work with local and state agencies to coordinate a safe and efficient traffic plan. Our best recommendation is always plan to arrive early – there is tons to do at “The Tricky Triangle”, so plan to arrive early and enjoy the entire day.
Q: How can I update my account information?
A: One way is to utilize the “Account Manager” that is available through www.poconoraceway.com. Otherwise, feel free to give us call at 1-800-RACEWAY (1-800-722-3929) or email tickets@poconoraceway.com. Some things we can take care of right over the phone, or email. But, for security and administrative purposes some things may require to mail or fax a signed letter.
