At Pocono Raceway, we draw fans from all over the world. Because of our geographic location and proximity to New York City, Philadelphia and Washington, D.C., international racing fans tend to use Pocono Raceway as their “home track.” We know they might only ever attend one race and we embrace this responsibility and opportunity on behalf of all motorsports to create a tremendous experience. We have been fortunate enough to hosts guests from at least 30 different counties. We asked a few of them to tell us their stories. For the next eight weeks, we will showcase these international Pocono Raceway fans.

Q: How did you become interested in NASCAR?
A: We got interested in NASCAR by the NASCAR Pinty’s series here in Canada. Then, I followed the Sprint series on TSN channel
Q: How do you follow races in your home country?
A: We watch races on TV, TSN.
Q: Who is your favorite driver and why?
A: I don’t have any favorite drivers, I simply like the entire series. My girlfriend loves Jeff Gordon and Kyle Busch.
Q: Why did you choose to come to Pocono Raceway?
A: We choose Pocono Raceway because it was during our two holiday weeks and the raceway looks so amazing.
Q: How long have you been planning this trip?
A: For about four weeks.
Q: Are you doing anything else in the United States during your stay?
A: Yes, we are going to Cape Cod for three days and waiting for the race.
Q: What are you most excited for about race weekend?
A: The green flag! And buying souvenirs of Pocono Raceway and NASCAR.
