I was woundering if there will be rides at the block party?
Pocono Raceway |
There will be rides from Family & Grandstand RV, yes. If you do not hold a camping ticket, then no. Additionally, we are opening our Infield for a limited time on Saturday for a $5 donation to the our local fire department. You can enter at Gate 1 Tunnel and enjoy the concert stage and block party, plus the fireworks on Saturday!

For the July 4th test will it just be selected grandstands on the outside of the track or will there be access to the pitlane grandstands and roaming (first & tunnel turn) for photographers?
Pocono Raceway |
Only the Grandstands will be open for the test session. The paddock, infield (unless you are an RV/camping ticket holder) and pits are closed to the general public on Thursday, July 4. If you are an approved and credentialed media member (and the deadline to apply for credentials has passed), you can then access paddock and pits.

how much is it for water fill up and waste removal and how often do they come around for that or is there a phone # to call will they accept credit cards for that service?
Pocono Raceway |
We believe it is somewhere around $20, but we are not 100% positive. Upon your arrival, you will receive information in an infield welcome bag with their number. We also do not believe they accept credit cards, so please have cash with you. Thanks and enjoy the weekend!

Hi, one of the above replies mentions entertainment On Friday. Is there anything else happening on Friday? Or is it just Thursday and Sat fireworks?
Pocono Raceway |
Fridays activities are only open to RV/Camping patrons. Fireworks are on Saturday and they are open to the general public for a $5 donation to our local Fire Department. Enter the Gate 1 Tunnel starting at 7 pm. For more information, please see the notes above.

Did not know that you could purchase camping tickets for the Indy race. If we were traveling to come to the track would we be able to bring our RV into the infield for the fireworks and then leave when over?
Frank |
Would we be able to get tickets for the Family RV today?
Pocono Raceway |
Yes…just head to RV/Camping Registration, located on the left hand side of Long Pong Road after you turn off Route 115. Hope to see you this weekend.
